Polydiethylsiloxane

Polydiethylsiloxane (PDES) deposited on silicon substrate by rubbing. Images of the topography and amplitude*sin (phase) image are presented. The direction of rubbing is from left lower corner to right upper corner. Dark background on right image is the amorphous polymer. The lamellae are mesomorphic state of PDES.
